A forest fire in the Boundary Waters spread to 100,000 acres by Tuesday. Its one of the largest wild fires in Minnesota history. The fire slowed down on Wednesday. But the winds have kept fire fighters on gaurd. The force has grown to from 200 to 500 people. They are trying to protect nearby towns that could be threatened by the flames. Firefighters are working to seprate the fire from residence and woods by digging ditches. Many fires all over have been starting in Minnesota.
I think this happens a lot around this time every year. But what i heard is that it's good for the forests?
